Danmarks Nationalbank's cooperation with other authorities

Danmarks Nationalbank has concluded Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with both domestic and foreign authorities. The MoU define the framework for Danmarks Nationalbank's cooperation with other authorities in relation to financial stability and crisis management.

In Denmark, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs and the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority are Danmarks Nationalbank's most important partners when it comes to maintaining financial stability and coordinating the management of financial crises. Another key player is the Financial Stability Company which was established with a view to managing the activities of ailing banks.

Danmarks Nationalbank participates in the Systemic Risk Council. The task of the Council is to prevent and reduce systemic financial risks so that they do not reach a level where they may have a considerable negative impact on the financial system and the real economy.
